Leaving Cert Revision Book
I worked with Russell Harris on this book. Strangely enough, his father was also my Maths Teacher when I was in 4th Year. Russell was always so encouraging and he genuinely loved my stick people. After drawing 1000s of images the book was brought to life by CJ Fallon Publishers.

I collaborated with Heather a few years ago on a graphic Leaving Cert. Physics book called “Doodle Physics”. The idea was to create a painless way to revise the course, which would also assist visual learners. I had my own basic versions of this already done, with my own poorly drawn stick men, but when a publisher agreed to produce it, I immediately thought of Heather as the artist. I’ve been a fan of Heather's work for a long time. She has the ability to bring, what are on the face of it simple drawings, to life - even stick men!
Working with her was a pleasure, and she managed to bring humour and energy to what were quite complex illustrations. I wanted the stick men to be faceless, which brings a challenge when you also need to give them personality, but Heather was able to give them all emotions. How does she do it? Some people just have a natural talent which the rest of us can only envy.
